Training Future Radiologists

At AdventHealth Imaging, we understand the best diagnostic care comes from radiologists with the highest level of training. Our four-year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program provides that training to the next generation of talented radiologists.

Radiology Expertise With a Personal Touch

Radiologists are trained in diagnosing and/or treating diseases and injuries using medical imaging procedures like X-rays, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) and more.

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology is a specialized group of radiologists comprised of more than 100 physicians and nearly ten different subspecialties within the practice of radiology. Our team is committed to providing not only the most advanced imaging services, but also the highest quality customer service to both patients and their caregivers, as well as referring physicians.

Subspecialized radiologists have completed a fellowship of one or two additional years of residency to pursue specific areas of focus that allow them to concentrate on single body parts or diseases through clinical work and research.

Having your medical imaging procedures performed by a subspecialized radiology group means your images will be interpreted by a radiologist who is trained specifically in the type of exam interpretation or procedure required to meet your particular needs.
